Pre-term as well as full-term babies are frequently unable to maintain their own body temperature. In addition, the infants lose an above-average amount of water through their immature skin.
With our high-grade NatalWrap specialty wrap we reduce post-natal heat and water loss effectively. The innovative material has outstanding insulating properties and is therefore perfectly suited for use in fast first-care settings and during transports with changing ambient temperatures. The velvety, satin-finished interior of the product optimally wraps around the infant’s sensitive skin, without causing any noise and without sticking to the skin. NatalWrap acts like a protective layer that maintains body temperature and moisture at a constant level. Its shape follows a square cut with an integrated hood – for very easy and uncomplicated handling.
With NatalWrap we also enable pre-term and full-term babies to experience intense parental body contact. The kangaroo method can be extended to a longer period of time due to the wrap’s heat- and moisture-conserving effect.
